Volunteer Orientation
This training session focuses on preparing your heart for serving as well as integrating you into Eagle Brook's Volunteer Ministry. You'll learn about EBC's Vision Culture, strategies, goals and expectations as well as the 4 I's of volunteering. Volunteering at EBC
The church in Acts 2 wasn’t for spectators. Each and every person was actively involved. And the church thrived. So did the believers.
EBC wants to thrive. And to do that each person needs to do his or her part. Let’s start by taking a look at you…
How has God wired you? What are your unique skills, gifts and abilities? What do you love to do? Does your life have purpose? Wise stewardship of your life begins by understanding how God designed you and then discovering what His purpose is for your life. Maybe you have a knack for making people feel welcome, or you can console those who are suffering. Maybe you’re a talented teacher or leader. At Eagle Brook, we want to help you find the serving opportunities that best fit your gifts and passions.
Interested in Volunteering at EBC?
We want to make it as easy as possible for you to jump into serving at Eagle Brook. Here are the entry points for volunteering:
- Come to an ExpresServe seminar. ExpresServe is only 50 minutes long; it covers the wide variety of serving opportunities available at EBC and will walk you through the process of getting plugged in. It is offered at strategic times throughout the year; watch your weekend program for upcoming dates. No need to register; just show up.
- Take the GPS seminar. You will discover how God has wired you for serving. At the conclusion of this experience you will get to choose which ministry area and volunteer role would be the best “fit” for you. Register online.
- Fill out a Volunteer Interest Form. These forms are available at the Information Booths and online. After you submit a form, you will be contacted by a staff person from the ministry area in which you want to serve. Fill it out online.
- Respond to a Volunteer Classified in the weekend program. Each week current volunteer opportunities are highlighted and include contact information.
