FAQ

What is Elevate?

Our desire at Eagle Brook Church is to see every single adult connected to the life-changing community of a small group. We offer a Singles Grouplink three times per year, where you can get connected into a community group with other single adults in a similar stage of life. Details can be found by clicking here.

Who attends Elevate?

At Elevate's large events, single adults of all ages attend. At our 2.0 events, the main audience is single adults in their 20s; at our 3.0 events, it's single adults in their 30s; and at our 4.0 events, it's single adults over the age of 40. Participants in this ministry come from a variety of backgrounds. Some have never been married, and some are divorced or widowed.

Who leads Elevate?

We have a strong core leadership team of lay leaders who work under the direction of Matt Anderson, Groups Pastor at Eagle Brook Church. The leadership team works hard to provide a safe and comfortable setting for single adults of all ages.

Are there any Bible studies for me to get involved in?

Community groups are vital to Elevate and central to all that we do. These groups emphasize building relationships, learning about God and your personal walk with him, and serving others within your group and in the community. These groups are launched several times a year at an event called Grouplink, where the Groups ministry will help you find a singles group just for you! Visit the Grouplink page to learn more.

Why does Elevate encourage community groups?

Large group functions are great to meet new people and build friendships in a fun and safe atmosphere. But we believe that many things that are vital to personal spiritual growth cannot be accomplished in a large group. Openness, accountability, deeper relationship building and deeper spiritual questioning are things that often occur more easily in a smaller group.

What happened to Solid Impact and Young Adults?

Solid Impact and Young Adults have, in a sense, converged to form Elevate. Our heart is to be even more intentional through Elevate at seeing single adults of all ages get connected here at Eagle Brook. For married young adults, we encourage you to attend Marriage Matters Live, which happens several times a year, and more importantly to get connected into a married community group at our Married Grouplink.
