Global Missions Opportunities

Eagle Brook serves along side several national partners around the world.  When these partners request Eagle Brookers to serve at their location, we send mission teams with purpose.  The mission team members are recruited from those serving at Eagle Brook in various ministry areas – such as Women’s, Kids, Men’s and Young Adults, etc.  Please talk with the pastor of the ministry area you are involved with if you are interested in participating in missions.  In addition, participating in the various G-Trainings such as Partners in a Mission and S.H.A.P.E. are great ways to prepare ourselves to serve better.

Mozambique

Eagle Brook is building a partnership with World Vision to serve Mozambique, Africa.  Although Eagle Brook Church is helping substantially in this area, there is more need. Child sponsorship is a way for Eagle Brookers to become personally involved in the lives of those living in Zambazia, Mozambique. Each year a team of 8-10 Eagle Brookers will have the opportunity to travel there, better understand the vision, and return updates to the church.  If you would like to sponsor a child in this area, please contact the Missions Director at barb.knutson@eaglebrookchurch.com.

Brazil

EBC helps train church leaders and works alongside Nelio and Flavia Paiva who pastor an Eagle Brook Church plant, or “daughter church” in their home community of Brasilia, Brazil. It’s called Igreja Viva (“The Living Church”).  Teams of Young Adults, Women, Music and leadership have traveled to Brazil to assist their growth and outreach.

Ethiopia

Experience the wonder of Ethiopia, while sharing God’s hope with people who may have never heard the message of Jesus Christ. During short-term missions, Eagle Brookers have helped encourage missionaries and leaders, constructed building projects for youth, partnered with local church organizations, and so much more.

Ukraine

In this area formerly dominated by communism, men, women, and children are finding hope through Jesus Christ. In the past, Eagle Brook teams have provided day camps for kids in a number of area villages, through work with our sister churches in Ratsevo and Cherkassy, Ukraine. The day camps have served as a great strategy of church planting. As God has grown the church, other serving opportunities include serving the women, older youth, and men.

Norway

Eagle Brook has recently created a partnership with the Willow Creek Association to help bring the Global Leadership Summit to Norway. The Global Leadership Summit takes place in Norway in October, where we send teams to separate sites across the country. These teams establish relationships and serve as greeters, ushers, janitors and parking lot people for the 1,200 church leaders in attendance.
