Katrina Restore Corps-Building Hope & Homes

Eagle Brook sends teams to assist the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.  Through STEM Ministries, we partner with a local disaster relief organization that has organized and funded various work projects to rebuild and serve those who have no means to help themselves in Slidell, Louisiana. Projects vary depending on the need at that time the team arrives; however, the projects tend to include gutting homes, painting, yard clean up, construction and re-construction. While there, we work alongside some of the survivors of the hurricane, and will be able to share God's love and hope with them through conversation and prayer.
