What to Expect
Some of what you're used to...some of what you're not.
Whether you’ve visited several times, or are just thinking about coming to Eagle Brook Church, we’re glad to have you join us. Our Senior Pastor Bob Merritt has a special welcome for you. We’ve also outlined some of the things you will do when you visit, so you know what to expect.
Before the Service
Choose a campus and service time:
Eagle Brook offers three locations for weekend services—White Bear Lake, Spring Lake Park and Lino Lakes. Each one has different features that make it unique.
Spring Lake Park Campus
Formerly Spring Lake Park Baptist Church, this location was opened in Dec. 2007 and seats less than 600. If you're looking for a small church feel with the benefits of a larger church community, this is the place for you. Join us for dynamic, live worship plus a relevant message that you can apply to your life right away. The pastor's message (sermon) is the same at all Eagle Brook sites, and delivered via video on large, state-of-the-art screens in Spring Lake Park.
White Bear Campus
Formerly the main location for Eagle Brook Church, the White Bear Lake site has been revamped to create an intimate, comfortable setting that is centered around community. The message is on video at these services, with a life-sized version of the speaker on a center screen and close-ups, music lyrics, Scripture, and more on two side screens. The White Bear Lake Campus also offers comfortable community spaces designed to give attenders a warm, welcoming place to hang out before and after services.
Lino Lakes Campus
This site opened in late 2005, and is a larger venue with stadium-style seating, a bookstore, a café, classrooms, and more. It’s situated on 92 acres of land next to Peltier Lake, and our environmental stewardship team is working on restoring the natural prairie grasses and habitat in the area, making it a beautiful setting for the large windows and open architecture of this 85,000 square-foot facility. The live worship music is the same at all services, and the message is also identical. This is the location that people who are coming to EBC for the first time often choose, drawing the largest number of attenders each weekend.
You’re welcome—and encouraged—to try services at all three locations to determine which is the best fit for you!

Check in your children:
Our weekend kids program is the perfect place for children from birth to grade 5, and the same great program is offered at both locations. The staff and volunteers create a safe, fun atmosphere in which children can learn Bible stories and participate in age-appropriate worship. Parents check in their children and receive a printed nametag and receipt, with a security number for each child.
In Lino Lakes, check-in is located in the Kids Wing. In White Bear Lake and Spring Lake Park, check-in is located at Information Central. If you’re having trouble locating check-in at any location, just ask a host or volunteer, and they will direct you.
Get settled:
At Eagle Brook Church, you’ll notice a casual atmosphere and people of all ages and walks of life. A host will give you a program, which includes church announcements and a note-taking sheet for the message. An usher can direct you to seats in the worship center – or you may sit wherever you are most comfortable. Once seated, you’ll want to look at the side screens to get an idea of upcoming events and opportunities for Eagle Brook attenders.
During the Service
Worship:
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. Our worship team will lead us in upbeat, contemporary songs of celebration, as well as more intimate songs of worship. Many of the songs may be familiar to you if you listen to the radio stations KTIS (98.5 FM) or Spirit FM (95.9 or 107.5 FM). Everyone worships in his or her own unique way – for many, that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
Offering:
Each week Eagle Brook’s regular attenders make an offering. As a guest, there is no need for you to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives Eagle Brook the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
Message:
Every weekend, our pastors give a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Many past messages are available online and on CD or cassette in the bookstore. These messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and apply biblical teaching to your own life.
Communion:
Several times a year we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – as long they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life he gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.
Kids Programming:
While adults are in the worship center, their kids are listening to their own dynamic interactive message, learning principles that can be lived out all week long. Children are divided into classrooms with age-appropriate teachings and activities, discussing topics that will help them build a solid foundation and a strong relationship with God.
After the Service
Pick up your kids:
If you check a child into kids programming, you will each receive matching ID numbers so that we can be absolutely sure the right kids go home with the right parents. If your child needs you during the service, the number on the sticker you receive will be flashed on the side screens. When you drop your child off, make sure to ask where he or she will be picked up.
Browse the Bookstore:
The bookstores at Eagle Brook Church's Lino Lakes and White Bear Lake campuses have a wide range of Christian materials, such as books, worship music and greeting cards. Whether you’re looking for a Bible, a book that will help you raise your children, or Christian fiction, these bookstores are a great place to start. You can also purchase audiotapes or CDs of past messages.
Visit the Café:
If you’d like a snack after the service, or want to sit and chat with friends or family, our cafés at in Lino Lakes and White Bear Lake have many options – from donuts and coffee to sandwiches and salads. They’re great places to relax, discuss the day’s message, or connect with other attenders.
