Serving With Purpose

Global Impact, Eagle Brook’s missions area, is about reaching people for Christ—nationally and around the world. We’ve found that one of the most effective ways to reach people for Christ globally is to partner with organizations and pastors that are already making a difference in their circles of influence. In partnership, Eagle Brook can multiply its passion to further God’s work by:

• Helping our global Christian partners lead stronger and reach people for Christ relevantly in their own cultures
• Serving the needs of their communities
• Giving financial resources strategically

Key Areas of Impact

Through much prayer and relationship building, Eagle Brook is focused on giving significant support to these specific areas:

• Mozambique: Working through World Vision to sponsor a village of children and to address the needs of a community affected by AIDS.
• Norway: Helping to bring leadership support to local churches through the Global Leadership Summit so they can reach an unchurched, secularized population for Christ.
• Ukraine: Offering support to pastors to plant churches in villages and run summer day camps for kids in order to introduce them to Jesus.
• Ethiopia: Assisting local church leaders at Ethiopian Berhane Wongel Church to spread the Gospel by building youth hostels for housing and education, as well as providing funding for food.
• Brazil: Giving leadership guidance and ongoing friendship to EBC’s daughter church, "Igreja Viva," that the congregation helped to plant in 2001.
• Reynosa, Mexico: Partnering with Harvest Ministries, Eagle Brook ministers to the physical and spiritual needs of the church community, and hands-on help for the poor.
• Louisiana: Working through STEM Ministries to provide disaster relief and clean up efforts for a community still reeling from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
• Haiti: Working with Healing Haiti to deliver clean water, food, education, hope and a strong christian faith to children and families living in extreme poverty.
• Nicaragua: Working with ORPHANetwork.org to help orphaned children fully reach their God given potential by providing food, clean water, medical help, education, and spiritual development.

How You Can Help

1. Pray. Regularly lift up our partners, the people in the place where God has called them to minister, and those who will go to help serve them.
2. Give. A portion of your giving to the general fund supports many of our Global Impact efforts. And, if you contribute to the Not Without You by indicating “NWY” on your check or online giving, Norway and Mozambique are supported. Individual children can also be sponsored monthly in Mozambique by clicking here.
3. Go. Serve on a short-term missions team. When our national partners request Eagle Brookers to serve at their location, our missions teams serve with purpose.
