If you're going through a divorce or separation, you don't have to go through it alone. DivorceCare is a 13-week DVD series providing support and encouragement. And, for this new session, we'll be hosting TWO groups. One at White Bear Lake and one at Spring Lake Park (new!). So, if this is something you might benefit from, and you want to get plugged in to the next session, register today for one of the following groups:
On Tuesday, Dec. 1, a commissioning was held for 25 Hopelink ministers. Hopelink, which is the new name for our former Stephen Ministry, is a one-on-one care ministry. The Hopelink ministers who were commissioned went through many hours of training and will now serve as ministers to our attenders who need one-on-one care.
Well, the results are in. As a church, we collected 5,753 shoeboxes! That is up 15 percent from last year. The White Bear Lake campus, which is also a regional collection center for the area, collected 15,601 boxes total. Thanks to everyone who packaged shoeboxes this year. Thousands of children all over the world will receive a gift this Christmas that they wouldn’t have otherwise received. For most, it will be the gift of hope. Way to go everyone.
