My passion is working with kids both at Eagle Brook and in Ukraine. Being involved in a small group is an important part of my life. I love to spend my free time reading and traveling. I originally began as a Weekend Programming Associate in September of 2002. I'm married to Rick and have three children, Justin, Kala and Colin.
In the spring of 2002, I finally took God up on His offer to trust Him. I quit my job in a high tech consulting field and followed my lifelong dream to become a lounge singer. I kept telling people, "I know that I might not be a professional singer for the rest of my life but I know I have to take this step to get where I'm supposed to be." Sure enough, during the course of the next 2 years, through God's grace, many things occurred that brought me to where I believe I am supposed to be today, right here at Eagle Brook Church as one of the Elementary Pastors.
The minute my wife and I walked through the doors to Eagle Brook, we knew we were home. We began our volunteering on the worship team, and have had the honor of leading worship for the church for the last few years. Then I joined Elementary Staff in December 2005, and now I get to sing with the kids!
I graduated Bethel University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts with a minor in Music. I have been singing with Poor Baker's Dozen for the last 12+ years. When I'm not singing, I love spending time with my wife Sarah. I love to read, especially when I can have a cup of coffee in my hands. In fact, I love to do anything that will involve coffee.
I have attended Eagle Brook Church since 1997 and joined the elementary staff in February of 2005. I find great joy in working with kids and feel so blessed to be a part of the elementary team and this church. You will also see me helping my husband, Curt, who is the Food Director here at Eagle Brook Church.
I grew up on my parents farm in rural North Dakota, with two younger sisters, a backyard tire swing, and a pasture full of cows. Ever since I can remember church was a part of my life. Sunday mornings were chaotic in our house as everyone scrambled to get ready for church. Each Sunday we were late to church and earned the name the "Late Lindteigens". After transferring a couple times I ended up at Bethel University in the Fall of 2005, for a degree in Youth Ministry. Not too long ago God prompted my heart for ministry and ever since it has been an exciting journey. I would have never guessed that I would be able to be part of something like Eagle Brook Church, but that's the adventure of God at work in my life.
I began attending Eagle Brook Church when I moved to Roseville from my hometown of Backus, MN. This is also when I began my undergrad studies at Northwestern College. I recently graduated from Northwestern with a degree in Ministry and a concentration in Children and Youth. My love for children began at the discovery of camp ministry. I began in my early years as a jr. counselor at Camp Shamineau and a counselor at Rock Ridge Camp. May of 2005 I started out as an intern on the Elementary team and absolutely fell in love. In September of 2005 I was hired on as an Elementary Programming Coordinator. I feel so passionate about the opportunity we have to build into the lives of the children who walk through our doors. Christ's love is vast and deep, how blessed am I to share the knowledge of that love with these children.
