Kids Ministries Volunteers

Our mission is to reach kids for Christ by creating age appropriate environments that draw kids into life transforming relationships with kids their own age, adult volunteers, and ultimately with Jesus. As a volunteer in Kids Ministry, you play a huge role in accomplishing our mission. This page serves as a toolbox for you as you serve our youngest guests.

Nursery

We help our youngest kids become familiar with Bible stories and learn about Jesus’ love for them. We provide kids with a place where they feel safe and cared for, and can begin to learn how to trust God, and others.

2 Year olds will read a Bible story each week along with a simple activity to reinforce the story. The story will change each month, along with a special story for Easter. The Bible storybook and activity guide will be available in your campuses' 2 Year Old room.

Preschool

Preschool kids enjoy large group learning and group time discussion. In large group, kids get to sing songs and meet some of our favorite characters like Rocky Raccoon and Tweet Bird, who help them learn more about how God wants us to live. In group time, they meet with other kids their own age and are guided in fun activities and discussion with their group.

Elementary

At Elevate, we’ve created a weekend experience that teaches kids about God in a way that they'll understand best—while also having a ton of fun. With games, engaging music, and a television-quality show we produce just for them, they'll make connections with kids and leaders while learning about God in a way that challenges them to put their faith into practice.
